มหาวิทยาลัยได้จัดทำเหรียญที่ระลึกพิธีเปิดพระราชานุสาวรีย์ เมื่อวันอาทิตย์ที่ 11 ธันวาคม 2548 เพื่อมอบให้แก่ผู้ทำคุณประโยชน์ให้กับมหาวิทยาลัย ตลอดผู้สนใจ โดยรายได้นำเข้าสมทบทุนกองทุน 100 ปี สมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนี เพื่อการศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง สำหรับเหรียญทองคำขัดเงาเงิน มอบให้แก่ผู้บริจาคตั้งแต่ 30,000 บาทขึ้นไป จัดทำเพียง 50 เหรียญ
